Pastor Chris was born in 1955 in Tallahassee, Florida where, in 1974, he was ordained at the age of 19 into the pastoral ministry. Pastor Chris initially ministered among  the Baptist churches in Florida, after which he and his family moved to Maryland in 1983.  He then became the pastor of an Assembly of God church before starting The Father's House where he now serves as an ordained minister with World Ministry Fellowship.

He and his wife, Sharon founded The Father's House in 1987 with the vision of establishing a church that is ministry oriented, rather than program oriented. It is their desire to see ministry established that opens the door between the church and the community, making the church a viable tool through which God's love can be expressed to the community. His style of ministry is that of a shepherd/teacher as he extends himself to others in his pastoral role. Pastor Chris also ministers in the prophetic gifting when ministering to individuals.

His wife Sharon lends her expertise each Sunday as she plays the keyboard for the church's worship team. Sharon brings to the ministry many years of experience, having been raised as the daughter of an Assembly of God pastor.

Their three children, Nicole, Chrystal, and Joshua, are a direct expression of Pastor Chris and Sharon's devotion to building a strong family unit. Now adults, you can see in each of them the guidance and love that their parents have given them through the years. Each of them lead strong spiritual lives and are actively involved in the churches that they attend where they live.

Pastor Chris and Sharon have a vision of seeing families healed and strengthened through the caring ministry of the local church. They have devoted their lives to this cause, and believe that The Father's House was raised up to become a primary agent of this vision.
